University Membership

Having a University Annual Membership to Divvy means 24/7 access to thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations across Chicago and Evanston. Use Divvy to commute to class, run errands, meet up with friends, or explore the city.
The cost of the University Membership is only $118.90 per year. You'll need to keep an active credit or debit card on file, and you can request to have a bike key sent to you that you'll use to unlock bikes (or use the Lyft app).

When you become a member, you get your first key for free (request via your membership account) that unlocks thousands of bikes around Chicago and Evanston. You can take as many rides as you want throughout the year, and the first 45 minutes of each ride are included in your plan.
Taking a longer ride? If you keep a bike out for more than 45 minutes at a time, it’s an extra $0.18/min.
If you incur any usage fees, your card on file will be charged. The fee for a lost or stolen bike is $1200.
